a little opening among the bushes
where on a gentle slope the sun lay

Near the upper pari of this opening

oa two sides of It tbe bushes grew

"This la the place where we will
dig our house," declared Mra Reddy
"Did you ever soe such a splendid
places Then, without waiting for a
reply she rattled on. "We'll dig
right down under that rock I know
by tbe looks that we can get quite
under it, and we caa have a couple
of secret hack doors up there among
the bbshee If any of those men
creatures should happen to find It
they can’t dig It open tbe way they
could out on the Oreen Meadows be
cause that big rock la In the way.
But t don't'believe any of them will
find It. I don't believe anybody ever
will find It. Oh Reddy, I wish we
oould begin digging right away.
