LIBERTY of thought and speech Our forefathers fought through eight long years of starvation and terrible exposure, and won the Revolution—for what? Vj M LIBERTY tor an enslaved people jfM I lal and to preserve the Union and Our brothers rushed to arms in 1898—left our shores —fought and won the Spanish-American War—for what? _______ LIoLI v I 1 ot an oppressed neighboring p people and to uphold our Monroe Doctrine TODAY a greater duty is ours—and what shall we write into history for posterity to read? Cowardice? Money-Grabbing? Inaction? Defeat? Disgrace? What is your answer —Why do you wait? YOU MUST DO one of the two things —Enlist YOURSELF or enlist your DOLLARS. Don’t look for an avenue of escape for there is none—you’ve GOT to fight. Our young men of 21 to 30 MUST FlGHT—they have no choice. You who can’t fight MUST PAY— you have no choice.
