It is one of the most important items in our $10,000,000 construction program. Central office tr> Cities urc being increased in all exchange*. They consist of six hundred and fifty five additional operators’ sections of switchboard, enough to supply, over the pres ent p r mils' • nofDc troit*another average city people with all necessary central office equipment. The Cost , in Round Numbers, is Two Million Dollars We are increasing facilities everywhere with a view to future needs.
