[Auditor's Seal.] N. Crop Report.
The Northern Pacific has issued the
first of its series of spring crop reports,
bulletins from all sections of the system
indicating that, while the season is
backward in many places, conditions
are generally favorable for a large
yield of grain this summer.
The Red river valley in particular,
gives promise of an enormous yield of
wheat, conditions being reported the
best in years almost the entire length
of the valley.
Other Minnesota points report the
ground well soaked with seeding well
in progress. About the same amount
of grain will be put in this year as last,
from present indications.
