Jorgenson ot Vmeland says that the 14-foot sea serpent which has been churning the water of Mille Lacs lake for three years past has not yet been captured. D. H. Warner informs the Union that sufficient cream was received at the creamery on Saturday to manu facture 24 tubs of butter. This is cer tainly a fine showing for a single day. The output for the week ending Mon day was over 50 tubs. Henry Behlmann, who recently came from southern Minnesota and entered into possession of the Payette farm in Green bush, was a caller at the Union office last Thursday.
