Following dinner the evening was spent in playing games. Twilight Social Club: The Twilight Social Club will meet Mar. 14, at th home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Hughes, 1207 East 21st St., at 8:30 p.m. Hospitalized: Mrs. Lucille Stew art, 3319 Chicago Ave., who has been confined to Mt. Sinai hospi tal for the past two weeks, under went surgery March 2 and is rap idly improving. Missionary Society Meeting: The Senior Missionary Society of Zion Baptist church met Wednesday, March 4, at the home of Mrs. Carl Fraction, 3841 Clinton Ave. Two class periods of missionary study were held. Socialites: The Societies held their regular business and social meeting Saturday evening, Feb. 28, at the residence of Mrs. Robert Mallory, 4053 Clinton Ave., with Mrs. Grover Ingram as hostess. Just for Fun Club: The Just for Fun Club met at the home of Mrs. Johnnie Mae Thompson, 615 Aid rich Ave. N., on March 1. Plans for a party to be held in the near future were discussed. Rectors Guild: The Rectors Guild of St. Thomas Episcopal church will meet on March 9 at the home of Mrs. John McHie, 3945 Third Ave. S. In Des Moines: Mrs. Cecil E. Newman, 4053 Third Ave. S., is in Des Moines because of the serious illness of her mother, Mrs. Viola Hall. P.T.A. House Mice Most house mice stay within an area having a 12-foot radius, accord ing to a recent study. Male mice, a little more adventurous, average 2 feet farther in range than females. A. Dealahay. 317 Bryant Ave. N. Rev. N. P. Patterson performed the ceremony. Two large baskets of assorted flowers decorated the altar and on either side were tall candelabras holding eight tapers. Mr. W. H. Williams, soloist, sang "Because," accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Elise Lyle. Mias Gwendolyn Morrow played the traditional wedding march. Miss Watts entered the church on the arm of her brother. Her gown of white net and satin was fashioned with a full skirt and lace bodice, long tight fitting sleeves and she carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations. Her finger tip veil of illusion net was secured to a cap of white satin and crown of pearls. Mrs. Fern Watts, matron of honor, wore a gown of pale pink faille with matching jacket stud ded with rhinestones and carried an arm bouquet of mixed flowers. WHO. CHURCH The two brides maids were the Misses Louise and Dora Cuff. Mias Louise Cuff wore an aqua mist taffeta drees fashioned with bolero jacket and three quarter length sleeves and carrrled a nosegay of pink and white rosebuds. Miss Dora Cuffs gown was of coral pink taffeta fashioned same aa her sister’s and she carried a nosegay of pink and white rose buds. Mr. Roland Griasam was the beet man. The ushers were the Messrs. Donald Gates, Wendell Helm and Harold McDuff. Mrs. Rose Dealahay, mother of the groom, chose a blue lace dress with matching pink hat and shoes and wore a corsage of pink and white carnations and rosea. A reception was held in the parsonage immediately following the ceremony. The centerpiece for the table which was set with a white linen cloth, was a three tier wedding cake with crystal candlesticks on either end. The bride and groom received many beautiful gifts.
