Debs & Dates By “JONNI" Hi there fabulous debs and dates, well what’s been shaking In the ’Twins” lately 7 One thing for sure, there are a lot of dances popping up. to keep things alive. Three cheers for D. P Black. Alice Todd gave a party Thurs day night, at her home. Little Walter played at Labor Temple Friday night, even though he had no horn section, he was still pretty "groovey,” as the squares would put It. You know. I have never seen so many people at one dance that I have never seen before, where did they all come from, or did that "down honie” music of Little Walter's bring them out of hiding! Marilyn Pratt gave a party at her grandma's home Friday night, most of those who didn't make the dance surely attended the party. The fabulous Robert Few is back in town. His hitch with Uncle Sam Is over, so he played the "good little boy" and made It back to the ’Twins." Ml Uy Reasby and Donald Pat terson are going to take those faithful vows soon. Warne Banks is back on the acene for a few weeks. It's nice to see all these old dates back In the spotlight once more. Gwen Hollivay gave a party Saturday night at her house I hear It was pretty nice. Ray Charles is going to "play a storm” down at Labor Temple. Tuesday. This Is one dance that everyone intends to make on due time. Wheatley should be opening up soon for the season, I hope this season of dances and games la better attended than they were last year, because last year was a drag, no one had any spirit. Well, fabulous friends. I’ll have to close the notes here, so I'll play safe and creep off the scene wait ing for you to come around with more happenings Signing off!
