Mrs. Martha Bussingtori, foster
mother of Mrs. Sallie Jones, 603 Lyn

remarkable age of 115 years.

Mr. Albert Ford died at Rochester,
Minn., last Sunday, and his funeral
was preached at Bethesda Baptist
church last Wednesday by Rev. J.

pital last week for a major operation
which was successfully performed last

Mr. Andrew Richards, member of
Ames Lodge, Elks, died last Sunday,
aged 37 years, and was given an Elks'
funeral at St. Jame's A. M. E church
Wednesday. was a member of a
K. Lodge in Rockdale, Tex., and
Pride of Minnesota Lodge K. had
charge of his remains and shipped
them to Rockdale.

having' been duly sworn according' to
law, deposes and says that he is the
owner of THE APPEAL and that the
following is, to the best of his knowl
edge and belief, a true statement of
the ownership, management, etc., of the
aforesaid publication for the date
shown in the above caption, required by
the Act of Congress of August 24, 1912,
embodied in section 443, Postal Laws
and Regulations, printed on the reverse
of this form, to-wit:

statements embracing affiant's full
knowledge and belief as to the cir
cumstances and conditions under which
stockholders and security holders who
do not appear upon tke books of ihe

has no reason to believe that any other
person, association, or corporation has
any interest direct or indirect in the
