Breckenritige Ocd Oil.
I another place in iliis week's issue
will be found an advertisement of Coal Oil,
sold by G. W. Curtis at St. Louis, Mo. This
Oil is used for Illuminating and Lubricating
purposes, and answers well the purposes for
which it is manufactured. From a careful
analysis it is found that a gallon of Sperm oil
will burn 60 hours, one of Lard oil till hours
and one of V/hale oil G-5 hours, while a gallon
of Breckenrid.:e Refined Illuminating Oil will
burn 170 hours with an equal volume or in
tensity of light this is in evidence of the
economy of the ilreckcm idge oil. It will not
explode, for, you may place a quantity in a
vessel and apply alighted match to it and it
will not ignite. It will not Congeal in any
climate, and.for this reason must take well in
our Northern latitude, and will sooner or later
take the place of all illuminators. It is equal
or next to the Street gas in brilliancy, and far
more economical one lamp giving, with one
small wick, alight equal to six Sperm candles.
The Lubricating Oil cleanses well machinery,
and is far more economical and better for all
kinds of machinery than any other lubricator.
Other products are made by this Co., and
will soon be introduced for the approbation of
the public. The Breckenridge Coal Tract cov
ers 7,000 acres of Land, and it is believed
that the supply of coal ig inexhaustible.
