SAUSAGE ISCBKAHING.—We announce it as a mat te-of interest to our advertisers, as well as ourself, that the circulation of TUB DEM OCHAT is rapidly and steadily increasing, bidding fair soon to treble that of any other paper in Northern Minnesota. Consider the matter fearlessly. Messrs. Aldermen, and clamp on the licenses. The town ueeds the money and there would be no laok of precedents for your action. GAME.—Small game, such as geese and ducks, has never been known to be so plenty. The grain fields in the country are litcrarlly covered with them. They have collected in large flocks, and circle about and Jjsettle upon the fields in the same manner as pigeons and blackbirds. Cue Nitnrod on Maine Prairie killed ten •lucks at one shot. Deer are also said to be very numerous, and we may expect an abundance of venison during the winter. a N E O Mr. Wm. 8. Throughout the entire speech, Mr. Donnelly was listened to with the most marked attention by his large audience, in terrupted occasionally by applause and laughter at amusing hits. The speeoh was logical, concise and couviuoing, taking the ground that suffarage should be universal and that in no other way could the work of reconstruction in the Southern States ever be carried ou to the good of the country. Mr. Donnelly did good work for the cause., and won for himself additional repu tations' as an able, eloquent and effective speaker. ITEMS.—A I ungling typographical error occurred in the setting of Mr. Hooper's ad vertisement for boarders. It will be lound corrected this week.
