GONE TO THE LAND OF FLOWERS. Jacksonville Union. A romantic story is told here about a newly married couple that will bear re peating. A wealthy young Englishman, named Henry Clifford, met at Niagara rails, a young English lady, a daughter of a gentleman named Thomas Bell, who had been brought trom England to America by her mother and brother to escape the importunities of Mr. Clifford. The mother and father preferred a very wealthy and very aged person tor a hus band for their daughter. The brother sided with his sister, and when the lover arrived at Niagara he was taken in hand by the brother. The result was an elope ment and marriage, lite young pair went on to New York, and thence took the steamer to Florida. Mr. Clifford bought an orange farm on the Indian river. Mrs. Bell, with her son, arrived here recently and found her daughter and son-in-law at the hotel. For a time there was a prospect of a lively scene. But the voung man's "What's the use, mother ?" made it all right. Daughter and husband were forgiven. All four are going to the orange farm on Indian river next week. GEORGIA LOVER'S MISS THE MARK.
