HUNTER SMITH. The sad message sent from Birming ham Monday morning from Mr. I, T, Smith conveying the news of the death on Sunday night, of bis son, Hunter, was a great shock to bis relatives aud friends in Noxubee. Only a few days before he was on the streets of Macon, apparently in robust health, but reallv suffering from incipient pneumonia, as he told some of his friends that he was feeltng unwell. He was in bed only two or three d ivo, and must have been suf focated by the phlegm that aechmulated in his lungs. The remains arrived here Monday night and were taken to the home of his father, Mr. I. T. Smith, where the tuneril services were con ducted Tuesday morning by Rev. Mr, Mitchell, after which the burial was at the Odd Fellows' cemetery. Hunter Smith was a young man with bright prospects He was doing well in the real estate business in Birming ham, ami owned a fine prairie planta tion a few miles northeast of Macon.
