in his statement that "the world
has ever held woman to Ih ii men

siders her fully man's equal. She
can wield the pen as successfully
as man, as is proven by some of
the best writers, such as II, More,

T. Cross, A. K. Mount, C. IJ.

Mary J. Windle, George Elli.lt,
and a host of others. Woman's
mind can grasp a problem as read

of teachers in mixed schools w ill
affirm. We havo had painters,
sculptors and musicians who were
not unknown to fame, notwith

home duties prevent her attaining
that perfection in such pursuits
that she would otherwise atuin.
Woman has inventive genius, as
the records of patent offices will
show. It is generally conceded
that women are the best educators,
and how can they impart the
knowledge they do not possess?
To sum up: women have ruled,
fought, written, painted, sculpt
ured, and have attained eminence
ill astronomy, geology and other
sciences, and, in fact, have done
everything that max can do.

A romance in real life is the talk
of the gossips in an Ohio town.
Seven years ago a young man

He was the son of the superinten

and Mrs. Fair noticed by Hrebb's
speech that he was native of her
own country. Mr. and Mrs. Fair
asked Btebb to cut loose from his

This Hrcbb agreed to do, and next
day he was put to work. Soon
after Brebb became one ol the
