By a gentleman whe arrived laft Saturday in the Flag from Providence, we learn that the conduct of the rebels who were aflembled at Point Judith, ex ceeded all ‘the defcriptions of unfeeling wreckers. Deftitute of every principle of honour, they were net content with plundering the ftoresofthe {hip but Captain Furneaux, and his efflicers were ftripped of what little baggage they were able to get on fhore. One of the members of their UpperHoufe, was detellcd soins off with a bag filled with the precious fpoil. The thoughts of ap proaching winter and the bleak. nefs of the point, entirely chil led thofe delicate feclings which might have adorn’d him in the Senate. Upwards of 60 of the Syren’s People have come in the Flag to be exchanged.
