ing the liailroailBuf Keokuk, with their lead*
ing connections/' we alluded to on geveral
occasions while it was in course oi prepara
tion. Man of our citiseus examined it before
it was lithographed, and it wan in conse
quence of the general approbation and desire,
that it was prepared for publication. W«i
think an examination cannot fail to show that
it is calculated greatly to serve the interests
of the citv, if used as it might !*, and we
hope those among us who possesses public
spirit enough to pay a trifle for the purpose
of prumotinp the interest* of the community
with which their own interest* and pride of
feeling are identified, will patronize it liber
ally. It is sold at a very small price,—en
tirely ioaTsmall for such a publication,—and
may be procured of Mr. DonHlan, at the St.
Charles Hotel. We are glad to learn that
the City Council took several hundred copies,
and one of the Railroad companies also took
a liberal number.
