The minutes of the day's session were read and on motion approved, whereupon the board adjourned to meet Wednesday, January 21, 1914, at 9 o'clock a. m. Wednesday, Jan.21,1914. Board met pursuant to adjourn ment. All members present. On motion the following resolu tion was adopted. Supervisor Scheff ler voting aye, Supervisor Young vot ing aye, and Supervisor Hosier vot ing aye, to-wit: Whereas, By the report of the county treasurer of Lee county, Iowa, it is shown that the railroad bond fund is overdrawn, the eald deficit being caused by the failure to make a sufficient tax levy for same, there fore Be it resolved* By the 'boara or supervisors of Lee county, Iowa, that Lee county, by its board of supervis ors order and authorize the auditor of Lee county to draw a warrant on the county fund in the sum of four thousand seventy and 24-100 ($4* 070.24) dollars, for the purpose of pay ing said deficit until sufficient taxes for 1913 are collected and paid. The following resolution of neces sity was adopted, to-wlt: Be It Resolved, By the board of su-' pervisors of Lee county, Iowa, that It is deemed advisable and necessary to construct the following described bridge: Date, March 12, 1914. Description of location, near ne cor, se^4, se^. Sec. 15. T. -68-6 material, steel, clear width of roadway, 16 feet clear length of span, 40 feet drainage area, 3.420 acres etimate of cost. 9900.
