It was the annual Class Play, this year entitled "Take Her She’s Mine”. The student director of the play was Ronald Holbrook, who did an excellent job. After the second ''Apron” act of the play the Stars had relaxed and put on one at the best shows I’ve seen at any high school. The plot of the play was about a girl, Mollie Michelson, who goes off to college. The school she at tends is bounded by three boys cotlegee and the Atlantic ocean! Mollie gets into quite a few ad ventures while attending college and quits. When Mollie has lived at home, in California, for a While an old school mate returns. Mollie marries her old school-mate and her little sister goes thru the same routine about College and boys all over again. Thursday night the music at the beginning of the play and during intermission was supplied by the Washburn to Orchestra. Among those in the Orchestra were Scott Skinner, Daryl Royster, Warron Tucker, and Noleeta MJchieu. Fri day night the music Was supplied by the Washbum High School Band. Dike to be considered a fine cook? Then, try serving homemade baked breads occasionally. "Let them enjoy broad’’ might prove a good motto. A loaf of honey-peanut bread will be as good as cake any day. It is quickly mixed. Over-mixing ruins a quick bread. Honey adds moistness which keeps the bread fresher, especially important for a small family. HONEY BUTTER LOAF 2% cups sifted all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt % cup peanut butter H cup honey 1 egg % cups buttermilk Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
