Section I. SHERIFF AND DEPU ties to act as bounty inspectors— Claim for Bounties. It shall ba the duty of the sheriff of any county in this stats, and of all under-sheriff* county seat, but not elsewhere, to re ine each akin presented, and should such examination disclose that the; scalp and ears with the skin from the i entire head of such animal or animals have not been severed, punched, patch ed, or in any manner marked, he shall, there in the presence of the person and deputy sheriffs located at the ceive and examine ail skins and pelts presented for bounty within their re spective counties; the said sheriff shall receive ten cents for each skin examined, said amount to be paid by the owner of the skin. Each sheriff, under-sheriff, and deputy sheriff, to prevent fraud, shall minutely exam presenting by severing the skin from the head, including the ears, and than redeliver the skin or skins to the person pre seating the same, and shall require the following affidavit from the claimant: State of Montana. Section II. Section 12. All Acta end parts of Acts in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 18. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
