Communion and Sermon 10:46 A M Mrs. Clodfelder, wife of the agent at Gerber, has been substituting for Mies Berg- at the Great Northern stat ion in Armington and has been dm in* back and forth in a Ford truck. Sunday, as she was driving along, the wishbone on the Ford dropped down and her car was out of con trol. She wound up in the ditch with out serious harm. A large car ap proaching went in the ditch on Uu other side of the road possibly keep out of the way of the truck. Stanley Klimas of the West Sid* Coal mine has been compelled to ent er the Columbus hospital as the re sult of being kicked by a hoVse soon, weeks ago. The leg did not improve and an X-ray examination proved that the bone in his leg while not broket was split. His stay in the hospital may be short but the matter is uncer tain. ™ I , It is rumored that Chas. Holmber* was painfully injured when he was accidently shot in the leg by a .22 rifle which he was handling. Detail* are lacking but Mr. Holmberg is in a Great Falls hospital. The men composing the West Side Coal company have been having tough luck. J .V. The Guild will meet with Mrs. Cal Sharrard Thursday afternoon April 8. Last Friday evening, the high school faculty entertained the basketball boys at an elaborate banquet ana ! dance. The menu consisted of: Deviled 'Eggs Wafers ! Baked Ham Escolloped potatoes Rolls Cream Chicken in timbals Fruit Salad Ice Cream The table was decorated with yel-1 bw and white, emblematic of East-i er. The favors were yellow basket« of assorted nuts and the centerpiece was the silver basketball won by the boys. Wafers Coffee Cake After the banquet the guests as < mbled in the auditorium where the rest of the evening was spent in dan ring. A beautiful lattice-work of yel low and white divided the auditorium.
