SOGRAND TIME A:T TWIN BRIDGES. -DITOR HUSBANDMAN: The morning of Dec. 29 looked very gloomy and stormy, the snow fell slowly \md'the "heavens looked as if they were ready to give way and all come down at once, but from the number of teams and mnen on horseback which might have been sleen ma'king their way towards Twin Bridges that day,, one ceutld not bhave thought That our men, women and ehiWreo were very easily frighter.ed away from swlhat promlsied to be a good time, and I think they were not disappointed. On maiinug in 'Qury what all this meant, a fniend stpoke: very low and said;: Orange. In an hour later, one-half of the gr4wnds about the 4;range hall at TIrin IrJdges was covered *itli teams from the wicinit' of Sheridan Fish creek, also from Re1ferson and Seaver hesideounties, A.nd it was soon whispered around that the Patrons were about to or ganize a Pomona Orange. Fron the bust ling noise and charming music, they were having a grand old time;, and from the sinumber of baskets which ,were carried in tfrom the walgons, one would have natnraltyJ *oncluded that they intended to feed the .~urrounding country. As e, ening came here came the people umtil every house, barn, stable and yard was crowded. The hall was lit up in great splendor, and mu sic. both vocal and instrumental, rang out wild and clear upon the stillness of night. The bustle kept up until three in the morn rig, and all enjoyed it very much. Many thanks are due to Lott & Bro. for their hos pitality towards visiting Patrons. KNOWNOTHLmG.
