DISSWDullN DECREE VERSUS NEW HAVEN New York, Oct. 17.-A dissolution decree, asked by the government against the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad company, was filed in the federal district court here today. The government's complaint is dis missed, by preliminary agreement, in so far as it applies to all defendants, individuals and corporations, with the exception of the railroad company it self, the new England Navigation com pany, the Boston Railroad Holding company, the Providence & Danilson Railroad company and the Boston & Maine Railroad company. The decree provides for trustees to take over the railroads and to act as officers of the court in carrying out methods provided for the ultimate sale of holdings. THE GEIER INCIDENT. Washington, Oct. 17.-On receiving from the Marconi company an expres sion of regret and assurance that greater caution would be exercised in the future, Secretary Daniels today ordered that no further steps he taken toward closing the Mlarconi station at Honolulu, because it sent a message announcing the arrival there of the German cruiser Geier.
