Special.- Di rectors of the Great \Vi stern Sugar company, aecompanied by F, A. \Vi - Bon, general manager of the Missoula plant, came to Hamilton today to in spect the partly finished refinery built here by the Utah-Montana Sugar com pany. It is possible that the Great Wentern will take over and complete the Hamilton plant. Senate Hears Tentative Plans for More Vessels Washington, March 12.— Tentative plans for enlarging the government's shipbuilding program was laid before the senate ship investigating commit tee today by Charles 1,. He suggested the employ ment of a practical shipbuilder to have charge of enlarging some of the pres ent Atlantic coast shipyards and to have tlic government take over con struction at some of liie plants. Ru talon, March 12. - The death of Mrs. tana Guilbert Ford, the American woman who wrote "Keep the Horne Fin a Burning," one of the most popular marching songs of the British army, and'her crip pled son, Waller, was a pathetic incident, of the German air raid "ii l-oiidon. An English maid, Annie Coxall, by a remarkable display of cour age saved the life of Mrs. Ford's mother, Mrs. Brown, 86 years old, although I he aged woman was quite seriously injured. The king and queen sought out Miss Coxall at the scene of the explosion Sat urday and expressed their warm admiration for lier heroic behavior. Mm. Ford and her son were in lied at the time of the raid in ad joining rooms on the second floor of a four-story house in a long block of substantial brick struc tures. A bomb appears to have hit tiio roof close to the partition wall dividing the Ford house from ad joining building. It shattered the roof and upper floor which col lapsed, with part »if the wall.
