Dent, alleged to have committed suicide at Alvord mine, near Dazgett, California, January 5th, resides at Parkersburg, Virgin ia. General Grant's father's cousin. There is no mistake about the relationship. J. W. Dent owned 1,100 shares in the Alvord mine.
