There is no money a community or an individual can in vest that wiil bring such ample returns at that which goes into educational facilities. Our Chamber of Commerce is taking an interest in tbe development of the sugar bset industry and has a fine lot of seed for distribution. August Norman, a young man who has been making his home at Konte Hillstead'a farm off and on, oame here yesterday afternoon. Mr. Hillstead was absent. About 1 o'clook this morning Norman went to Mrs. Hillstead'a room aod de manded admission. She blooked tbe door. He said he would kill the entire family if she did cot open tbe door She refused. Norman went np stairs and out tbe throat of Peter K. Hill- stead, eged 15, with a rezor. After try ing again to get into Mrs. Hillstead'a room he proceeded to oarve tbe 13-month's-old son, Thomas, after which be out the throats of Adolpb and Oaoar, ages 11 and 3.
