The Itislng Son. as everybody knows, has been a champion for the Negroes riithts. We have fought the cause of the Negro from the verv he ginning of our ascendency. On all occasions we have fought where we think the Negroes have been wrongeii We fought the Itrownville case and we opposed Tnft because we thought that he represented all that was in Hoosevelt. but judging human natur" we can tlnd nowhere In the annals of history where one man has the same disposition as another in its en tlrety. Then if this Is the case vv wish to pause. A little over a month ngo we espoused the cause of that eminent anil powerful Republican Walter S. Iiickey, knowing him to be a man of high integrity and a leader of all the people, both black an white. We say, if he has endorsed Taft and we are following him ns ivr leader, we must of necessity follow where he leads. Lead on, Dickey, where you lead, we will follow.
