There is no need of any one mis
sing a good time Thanksgiving night with the New Dancing School giving one of its famous entertainments at Manitou hall on that crackerjack floor. Popular prices will prevail with music by the Harris orchestra. Nuffsed? Well, I guess. Practice and rehersal for the great dramatic production which will be produced at Shorter Church Thanks giving night under the management of Mrs. Esther Morris, is going -lead ilyon, and it now seems that this will eclipse all former efforts at such. There is much merit in the play itself and there is a cast which will bring out the best there is in it. The other Thanksgiving arrangements at this church are up to standard and may even surpass the best record. Of peculiar interest to fraternal folk will be the production at East Turner Hall given by the Knights of Athens Monday. In addition to this one act burlesque will be an orchestra and daacing for everybody. A splen did cr- nmittee of popular gentlemen has this in charge. They have secured the play at considerable expense. This is its first showing here and you should not miss it. EXCLUSIVENESS AS A FAULT. Man’s Weakness in Separation from | Rest of His Kind. A man is but a cluster on the great human grapevine. He begins to dry i up the moment he is cut off from his fellows. Ther Is something in the solidarity of the human race which cannot be accounted for in the sura total of all the individuals. Separa tion from the mass Involves a mighty loss of power in the individual, Just * as there la a loss cf cohesion and ad- ; heslon Involved in the separation of the molecules and atoms of the dia mond. The value of the gem is in the close contact, the compactness, and the concentration of the particles which compose It. The moment they , are separated Its value is gone. So a strong, effective man gets a large part of his strength from the vital connection with his fellows—Success Magazine. —III ■!!!■■ "» THE STATESMAN, DENVER, COLORADO.
