vants. I can enforce it with tho females, but it

lock up the servants, H' they would submit
to it: and could lock uu the hovs in their
dormitories, but In case of lire thoy would
do destroyed, and X would lie justly utilised
for it. The truth of the whole matter is
that I cannot always prevent, however
diligent I may bo, servants from going
astray, nor is it my business to try; nor
can 1 always prevent the young men from
doing wrong, After I employ a woman
and have proof against her afterwards, I
then discharge her. 1 have discharged
several for Immoral conduct, but not until
I had heard the truth about it. Other
schools have these accidents to occur; for if
thoistudentsare guilty of immoral conduct,
the superintendent or president is the last
person to whom they would make report.
