The Telephone Exchange,
alias is a rapidly growing city, and
and prominent among her many thrifty
institutions is the Erie Telephone Ex
change, which bits 225 milts or wire in
operation, connecting 200 subscribers.
In addition to this, thore are 6.50
miles of territorial wire center
ing at the exchange here, which
is tho hindquarters of tho
whole system In in.rlh Texas, handling
the largest territorial telephone busi
ness ol any in tho state. There wero

sleet, which disabled all tho territorial
lines, which shut off communication
until Friday, when tho Fort Worth ami

have been sent out to make
repairs, and everything is expected

dered Conductor Frazler aud seriously

were neing taken to Fort Worth
for the purposo of tielng Identified by
Powers, who is con fined in tho railway
hospital ot that town, and who Is not ex
pected to live. Kiwcrs recognized tho
men as thoso w;,o committed the mur
der, and whom ho and the conductor
wore attemptlm: to eject from the train.
