Eighth To regulate the mode of levy ing any special tax for school-house purposes by a vote of the poople. Mnth To combine Into one and ren der intelligible the several sections in relation to opening, widening and ex tending streets. Tenth To authorize commit!! ng city prisonors, in cortaln cases, to tho county poor-farm with tho con sent and under arrangomonts with the county commissioners court. Eleventh To allow about two weeks more time for levying the annual taxes in May, so that the assessor can complete his assessment rolls.
