Pilebury, Mayor, presiding, and Admiolstratore Brown, Cavauoe, Dents, Diamond, Edwards. MoOCifrey and Rengstorff. 'I he Mayor stated that be had ca led the meet. ing f r the purpose of adpting eauh rules as might be thought necessary for the conductof the election to be held on the 25th inst. Mr. Cavanao offered "an ordinance providing for the conduct of the election to be held on the 25th of May, 1877, in accordanco with the pr - visions of set No. 2J of the Lgeislature of 1876." Upon a call of the roll the ordijanco was adopted by a unanimous vote. The Secretary was tnstructed to have two hun dred copies of the ordinoance printed for the use of the officers of election.
