As In previous races "The livening

the recent races, by a captive balloon,
from which an expert, who Is a sailor,
newtpaper man and telegiaph reporter,
will describe the race as seen from his
lofty perch, oer a wire leading direct

Many of the difficulties winch prevent

been found more desirable to send tho

that Interfered with maintaining tr-e alt

make it possible to asctnd from the

to be made, amounting to the establish

as well as n special telegraph plant, at
Highland lieach,
Not the least of the preparations was
laying a it-pegraph cable across tho
.Jhre.vshury, to connect the balloon with
Postal Telearaph wires leading directly
to "The Evening Woild" office. This ca
