Thirty divisions of that army thirty denominations are moving forward in a nation wide cooperative campaign. THE army that stands still is really retreating. The Master's command was a forward command,"Go ye into afl the World." Out of the war the churches emerged with a new sense of the urgency of that cxnmand. "We must move forward all along the line," they said, and each denomination planned its own "Forward Move ment" to deepen the spiritual life of its members and equip itself with money and power. Then came the greater thought, It is not enough for us to go forward. We must be sure that there is no duplication of effort; that cooperation prevails; that every man and dol lar does its utmost in service. "We must go forward together." So the Irrterchurch World Movement was formed a clearing house through which thirty denominations with out sacrificing their identity ki any way can cooperate in the service of Jesus Christ FOR MORE than a year trained experts have been at work making a scientific survey of the whole world, and of America county by county. The chxrrches, for the first time fn their history, have the full facts. DniiWl Ffoaocial fTTi ifc T rr in KraMMHjHsHHHsav They knertr where America is o-rtsrehurcbed mad vvbera ucda. churched. No easiness tasn can study that surrey without being impressed by the accntacy aod cenrace with which the task has been approached. ON THE basis of the survey, the cooperating denominations wiD unite in a simultaneous financial campaign in the week of April 25th. The amounts asked for are large in the aggregate; they are small when divided among the church members of the nation smaller still when yon coont th whola number of men and women who Java America. The average contribution to the church today is leas than three cents per member per day. Think of it. Yet if each person .who loves and believes in America will increase his contribution by only a few dollars, the whole amount will be easily subscribed. Will you do yoor share for a better America and a bettor world ? Your chance to help is coming in the week of April 25th. Use LAXATIVES 10c, 25c. the box A Useful Cough. Nature means well. But somerimw 1W t-.iM.t- mnf .rrfo , are misdirected. The object of the act of coughing is to jget rid of some product of irritation or inflammation along the respiratory tract After such a cough, some thing is "raised" and expectorated. Such is a "useful" cougn. uut oiten there is nothing to get rid of, or it is so viscid or scanty that it cannot be dislodged. Then Nature's well meant effort becomes a "useless" cough. Drugs are often taken either to deaden or soothe the cough, and so defeat Nature in her helpful effort, or to soften, loosen and increase the material to be gotten rid of. But such drugs act as depressants, they often nauseate or irritate the stomach. Nature has also provided a harm less and useful remedy, not of a drug nature but of a food character, which, when taken into the stomach, produce an increase of secretion along the bronchial tract, thus enabling the cough to raise and get rid of it. Common sense will convince that this is the best way, the harmless way. Nature's remedy is in the form of a food-medicine as doctors call it, not a drug. It is easily digested, and any part not needed by the bronchial tract, goes to build up and nourish the body ! This is the reason why Father John's Medicine - which contains no drugs, no alcohol, no opium or narcotics of any sort, is so useful in relieving coughs and removing the causes that make coughing necessary. Doctors know the action of the food-medicine that is contained in Father John's. People have been using it for coughs, colds, and as a body builder, for over sixty years. Adv$.
