THE happiest event in the Candy world comes
off Saturday morning the largest Candy store
in. the world will open on 42nd street between 5th
and 6th avenues. This great Candy store will be
the first in a nation-wide system of fine Candy
stores and Candy factoiies,planned to bring Candy
quality, Candy purity, and Candy goodness directly to
the consumer without extravagance or high prices.
Having the assistance and support of the great United Cigar Stores
system of merchandising, a numberof the country's most successfuf Candy
manufacturers have organized and perfected the UNITED RETAIL
CANDY SERVICE. They plan to open a new store every week or two
from now on until this better-Candy-for-the-money service is established
at convenient points throughout the city to serve the public

THE answer to the often-asked
question, "What kind of candy
are you folks going to sell?" is all
kinds, but only one grade abso
lutely pure candy of the highest
possible grade.
The prices will vary according
to the kind or type. For instance
some people prefer cocoanut kisses
to fine chocolates both can be the
same grade and yet one costs half
as much as the other. So it is all
through the line the quality or

worked for months, originating,
