Commencement Exercises To-day Marked by
an Academic Procession and the

The Hunter College commencement
took place this morning at the college.

Charles Moore, Ph. D., then presented
the candidates and the degrees were
conferred by President George Sam
ler Davis, LU D.
President Davis In his address to
the graduates said that the degreo of
bachetor of arts was Conferred on 293
Btudents, of whom ten were graduates
of the evening session. The Presi
dent also announced that thirty-three
higher degrees had been conferred this
year on Hunter graduates.

college. President Davis said that the
registration of new students this Feb
ruary hud been 46 per cent, higher
than the previous yea'r and that the
growth in other directions was also

two last mentioned being graduates
