cause of complaint, on conscientious grounds, thai
the Protestant version of the I l??iv Scriptures is
read in these Schools. Vou speak also of other
grievances, but do not state whai they are. \\ itii
reference to the Scriptures] think thatpoini may
be ii'itit'il without ilifiiculty, by discontinuing the
reading in tkns?. school?- having a majority of
Catholic children. The consequence would !"-.
that conscientious Protestants would withdraw
