Information is out of season after .'.inner, and these
well-told stories come in aptly with the eefloo and

The water colors snd drawings, some already
familiar, represent bits of Holland, Spain, Veuico
ant Havana, g,.tew lys and church interiors, canal
scones, glimpses of Venetian quays, and many well
choson architectural frai'tnents. The artist has a
keen eye for good situations, a lively appreciation
of telling subjects, and lie has the ability to express
himself in a manner direct yet thoroughly sympa?
thetic, honest and intelligent. His sketches may
seldom bold us for long, but they rtrely lack the
power to please. Ihe water colors, sixteen in num?
