Workmen will begin to-morrow moving the
wheelmen's sheller at West Brighton opposite
the end of Ocean Parkway from Its present po
altion to the Park grounds Just north of the Con?
course which connects the eastern end of West
Brighton with Brighton. Eater in the season the
eecond shelter, standing further out on the bea?h,
will be rebuilt and put In shape to receive its sum?
mer visitors. The second shelter was badly wrecked
by the heavy storm which raged along the shore
laut fall, and consld.rable work will have to bo
done on it before It ran be used at all. Still, it is
in no worhe condition than it has been after oth?-r
heavy storms, and the Park officials have no doubt
that they can restore It to usefulness by etralghten
ing up its iron pillars and putting in a new floor
and new railings.
The structure nearest to the end of the Cycle
Path will look like a new building when the work?
men get through with it. After it is moved across
the Concourse it will be raised several feet higher
from the ground than It has been. A spacious
veranda will be built around It. adding greatly to
Its usefulness and to the comfort of the throngs
of wheelmen who will be sure to visit it. There
will be ample provision for wheelmen to leave their
bicycles outside the building In racks which will
be built near Ik* veranda. From the veranda there
Will be ?? excellent view of the beach from West
Brighton to Brighton, such an is afforded by no
other buildi.'.g along that part of the shore. The

Court In Newark yesterday In an action brought hy
the Consolidated Traction Company again?! Frank
Iiutton, formerly a conductor on the New-York
branch of the system.
The company allege.? tnat during a year and a half
preceding September of last year, Iiutton and other
employes embessled rn.-itiey from the company and
that Dutton'l share was 0,4)00, which was deposited
by him In the Howard Savings Instliutlon. The com?
pany asked the Court io resirain the bank from pay?
ing the money to I>utton. In answer, counsel for
iHitton all- ged that f?oo of the amount wan deposited
before Dutton took service with the company, and
