Injury to the winter wheat crop by dry weather and threatened bad ef fects 10 spring wheat through an excess of moist ure were among the principal reasons for the heavy buying. Near the end there was considerable soiling by longs to realize profits, causing a sharp reaction from top prices that left the net gains at IV for May. %c to %c in July, and lc in Sep tember.
