The American Motor Leacue has begun to subdi vide its mbenhJp into state divisions, and this work is 1 ow under way in thirty- four states. Each state has been divided Into a convenient number of districts, and prominent automobilista are heing se lected to represent these districts on the several state boards and to serve on the state organization committee! until the beginning of the next official year. The state boards will elect delegates to th* national assembly, the first meeting of which will lie hci.l in October. The national assembly will elect officers for the ensuing year and will take up actively the work fr> r Improved roads, better rond laws and the more equi table regulation of automo bile travel on the streets and roads.
