Mass., Jure 19 (Special).— There was very dull trading in the print cloth market last week, and the total sales are estimated at 40,000 pieces. The lack of interest displayed by buyers and the un willingness shown by manufacturers con tributed to this slow trading. While the operations in the various oil fields have continued fairly active during the last week, the results have been of an ordinary character. In the lower southeast fields operators continue their search for new producing 'territory, but so far their efforts have not been accompanied by any striking results. Some have gone far out sjde of the producing limit, and the amount of experimental work now under way will test territory that has not received much attention heretofore. Some producers how ever, have been brought in during th week. v. In Fairfield County. Ohio, several nells have been completed, with capacities of twenty to sixty barrels. In West Vir e ima the bringing in of some fair produc ers is reported. In Ritchie Township W \a.. the Fisher Oil Company's No. g was dm en through the sand, and during the lirst twenty-four hours it produced 370 bar p S ' Si he Sbinnfton district the South Perm Oil Company's well, which was drilled in more than a week ago. is still holding ■£. T£& ba . rre 3?, a day - ln the Trenton Rock fields, in Ohio, very little activity is shown. In the California fields the neces sity of additional pipe lines to carry the product of the various wells is receiving n-ore consideration, and it is said that an Taraisco capitalists are contemplating the building of additional lines which will bo capable of handling double the capacity of existing lines. The shipments of oil by the Standard Oil Company from these fields lor the seven days ended on June 7 amount ed to 170.927 barrels. Prices of refined petroleum at New York are 10 points lower, at 7.65 cents in barrels and 4.15 cents in bulk. European prices are unchanged, as follows: London spot 6Ud per imperial gallon; Antwerp. 19'^ franca per 100 kilos, and Bremen, 6.05 marks per 50 kilos. GUARANTEED STOCKS. tFumlshed by Edward B.
