XEW-YORK DAILY TRIBUNE "THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6/ 1910 * GIMBELS A Specialty Store for Women Our women s-wear divisions are " specialty " stores of a high type. There are more of them and a greater degree of specialization in them than is usual. We have NINE separate specialty stores dealing in women's outward apparel. (The underwear, corset and hosiery stores are not included in this number.) That means nine distinct organizations, each headed by a recognized expert, each concentrating on one class or kind of apparel and specializing in it. The advantage is obvious. But all these divisions are energized, guided and inspired from a single source— the best commercial fashion authority in the country — and thus, while they are independent in action, they are neverthe less held to one high, true standard of style and quality. Back of all is our superb Paris organization, with its active staff of fashion detectives and novelty hunters and with its daily letters and almost daily cablegrams. No fear that M Gimbel style " can be anything but fresh and authentic. No fear that Gimbels values can be anything save the best to be had. Gimbels is the store equally for the woman who knows and the woman who wishes to know; for the woman who need not count her dollars carefully and for her who must. And everything in it is NEW !
