The "IMPERATOR" willpositively
sail on Saturday, Aug, 30, 9 A. M.
The fire which occurred on board of the
steamship "Imperator" yesterday morning
was confined absolutely to the compartment
where the provision rooms are situated and
in which the fire originated. The damage
caused is very slight, having been confined
to a very small area, and no damage of any
kind was done to the passenger accommoda
tions. The vessel will be ready to sail in
first class condition, as stated above. All of
the departures will be maintained as per
advertised schedule.
