"Standard Gasoline," an inferior product not of I our manufacture, the dealers using the words ? Standard Gasoline" as a catch phrase. % i We feel it our duty both to the motoring public and to our- | selves to make known this unfair business method. I In order to meet it, we have taken the following steps: 1 1. We have given our Gasoline the copyrighted brand name % SOGONY (Standard Oil Company of New York). I 2. All dealers carrying our gasoline have been supplied > with Red, White and Blue Metal Signs, displaying the words ? ISOCON Y MOTOR GASOLINE, to serve as an identifica- 0 tion mark for motorists. ? y 3. This SOCONY Gasoline sign, as shown below, will ?S be featured in a series of advertisements to appear in the f\ principal newspapers of this City.
