Enlarges Site With Additional Purchases Now Control Most of the Chelsea Section Block The Croiaie Building, the twenty story office^ building at the northwest corner of Twenty-sixth Street and Fifth Avenue, has been resold to the Benen son Realty Company, through Tankoos, Smith & Co. The building was pur? chased by the Knickerbocker Realty Company from the Terra Realty Com? pany (Martin T. Kern) about three weeks ago. It has a frontage of 56.6 feet on the avenue and 127.6 feet in ?the street. L. & M. Jones erected the building about fifteen years ago. Among the prominent tenants are Dennison & Co., who occupy the store and base? ment; the Mississippi Wire and Glass Company, the American Lead Pencil Company, Stetson & Co., etc. A large portion of he space expires within the near future, and it is understood that a resale is ppnding to a large downtown concern, which will occupy the build? ing as a permanent home and gradually absorb the office space as it expires.
