had, and one of the biggest sver held In this

etook farm and brought across the continent,
sold for 10.815. or an average ot 1998.49 apleoe.
All the horsemen In the city and many from all
over the country were present with 11.000

In 35 seconds, barefoot. O. W. Preston of
Qreenpoint bought a bay colt, dam Bebecca,
for $2,425. and Frank Ellis got Lira, a bay Ally,
two years old. dam Lilly ft. fpr $3,200. John i B.
Clark of New Brunswick, N. J paid $1,800 for
a yearling colt, dam Sprite.
A straight, well-develooed man, with gold
eyeglasses, bid $1,325 on a bay colt, dam
Adelaide, and got nor. He signed bis ohsck
