A Shoe Story Worth Reading
18,000 Pairs of Men's Tan and Russet
Shoes, Regularly $3, $4 and $5, at
One Dol lar and Ninety Cents a Pair
This is an illustration of the retailing power of the Wanamaker
Stores and a demonstration of the price-cutting force of that
power properly exerted.
There are eighteen thousand pairs of Men's colored Sum
mer shoes in the purchase. New York gets 8,000 pairs of
them. They come from noted Massachusetts factories
about to start on their winter orders and anxious to be free
from the responsibilities of remaining summer goods. A
sale of this kind is common in the Fall, we push it ahead
two months and make it of use to you.
There are few better shoes than these made. These are
not cheap shoes. Their prices to-day in all stores, save this,
are $, $J.0, $4 and $S a pair.
You may choose at $1.90 a pair. It rests with you what
priced shoes you choose.
I All sizes from 5 to 10, all widths from A to E, all toe-
$ shapes known to this season.
