These properties are among the oldest and best established hydro-electric enterprises on the Pacific Coast. Territory Seven of the principal counties of the rich and fertile San Joaquin Valley are served by the San Joaquin Light and Power Corporation. The population of this Territory (1910 census) was 193,514, and it Is Increasing rapidly. The rate of growth of the State of California from 1900 to 1910 was almost three times that of the entire United States.
