The corner is part of the George (i. Huber and aMr tln Schrenkeisen properties. Whloh were sold yesterday at auction by Joseph P. Day and J. Clarence Mavles. It was the highest priced corner of the sale. Hobert B, Simons and Senator Thomp son wanted 11. but Simons outbid the former legislator and got tha property for 123,500. Thompson regretted after he lmt the property and leaning over to where Simons gat asked him what ha would take for hla contract. I'll taka 12,500, Simons Is said to have replied, and the deal waa closed. The bid was $900. Terence J. Cronln bought this together with several adjoin ing on White Plains road for $2,721. The four lots adjoining the corner were sold separately at flTI, $47.".. $425 and $375 the prices gradually decreasing as the distance from the corner increased.
