The Heoond avenue is the last of the New York surface lines that collatsed In 1907 to extricate Itself from receiver ship. The order under which the claims of the Second avenue are to be settled provides that the New York City Hall ways Company, which Is the reorganisa tion of the Metropolitan and New York City lUilwai companies, Is to pay $548, 354 to the Becond avenue receiver. The money will then be paid for the Seon-.l avenue road's delus under supervision of the Supreme ''otirt. The largest claim held by the Second avenue was against the Mctroiolltaii for hreakltar the lesse held by that road.
