The defending army cheering the arrival of the rough riders. "FALL OF A NATION" FILMED AS A LESSON IN PREPAREDNESS Throughout the night thebig guns of the enemy pealed the fall of a great nation. Thomas Dixon and Victor Herbert we the author of new pre paredness film spectacle, "The Fall of a Nation," which will have its Am presentation in New York about the .first week in June. The story begins by showing the causes that produced immigration to America, religious and political persecution in various lands. It then leads up to the invasion of America by a coalition of European Powers following the Oreat War. New York is captured, the Vast overrun and the nation virtually crushed, to be saved, Anally, by a nation wide, oath-bound league of women. The lessons sought to be im pressed by the spectacle, aside from the primary lesson of the need of national defence, arc the potential loyality of the foreign born population and the menace of disloyalty and treason in high places.
